New Tea Fair [May 20 (Sat) - June 18 (Sun), 2023].
Shincha, also called ichiban-cha, is tea made by plucking the first sprouts of the year.

The sprouts, which store nutrients during the winter and sprout in early spring, have a special flavor: sweet, young, and lush.
During the fair, Chorakukan will offer a glass of new tea from the Japanese tea specialty store Ippodo Chaho.
Enjoy the pairing of Western sweets and French cuisine created to match the taste of new tea in a Western-style building in Kyoto.
